In John Wick the equilibrium is the the him living in peace and without hardship after his dead wife gets him a puppy that reminds him of her therefore preventing him from feeling sad and gloomy. The disequilibrium is when the Slavic group of people he had a row with attack him and his puppy. The new equilibrium is when he kills the Slavic group.
In this scene of episode 1 of Game of Thrones, the setting is based on medieval times which is shown by the furniture and the way the people within the scene dress and talk. The characters in shown are Ned Stark, the main character of that season and his wife and servant who bears him news. The plot is shown in this scene after Ned finds out who is responsible for the fall of his son which in turn makes him set out to the Capital.
These three characters fit Propp's hero character role.

This is an example of binary opposition as Batman and The Joker are rivals and opposites.
Dominant ideologies and values can be expressed in a narrative by the hero and villain. The hero can have an ideology and values such as morals that differ from the villain who might has a lack of morals and ideology than the hero which further increases their rivalry.
Enigma and Action codes offer gratification for the audience as it allows the audience to get an answer for a question that is shown in the movie, film or TV show. This makes the audience feel happy as they get a conclusion to the the answer that they were hoping for .
Episodic Narrative:
The conflict or issue is resolved within an episode but still links to an over-arching narrative.
Overarching Narrative:
The conflict or issue is resolved in a season or multiple seasons.
Mixed Narrative:
Each episode has its own narrative and conflicts that are resolved within it.
Adverts create narrative to show how the product can be used and the conditions it can be used in. For example, in a cleaning product, everything is in equilibrium then the dirt is the disequilibrium and the dirt getting cleaned is the new equilibrium.
