The costume the man is wearing a black jacket, the colour black represented mystery, evil and death which can foreshadow what happens later to the man clarifying the shocked look on his face. In the image, the lighting is bright however as you move further away from the man it becomes blurry and harder to see. The blurring could link to how the character feels confused and astonished.
