This news story is likely to gain prominent coverage as it includes a British getting killed which would gain the interest of a British people across the country. This news story is also likely to gain prominent coverage as it talks about a terrorist incident which tend to catch the media's and the world's attention.

 5) Online sources changed the way news is selected and published as they are able to publish stories that traditional media outlets are likely to bury due to them not fitting their narrative or ideology. This can be shown through WikiLeaks by publishing secret information, news leak, and classified media provided by anonymous sources that are likely to be hid by the US government and their media outlets.

As journalist aren't needed as much and can be rendered obsolete as it is much easier to use information from user's.

 7) The digital age has changed Galtung and Ruge's news values as it has made it much more easier to notice what aspect news stories cover e.g.  Personalisation. This is through thing such as the title being more flashy or using click bait which is important as websites tend to focus and depend on viewers clicking on their website or news link.

 8) Negativity has changed in 2018 as the most prominent news story that tend to get the most coverage are ones that cover negative stories such as crises that are happen across the world such as Syrian, Palestinian, Myanmar crises but also the increase of terrorist news stories which are indeed negative are more focused upon as they are a big threat to the world.
Unambiguity has changed in 2018 as it the viewer or audience are able to click or go on the reference that a news story is based on making it less ambiguous however this could also be a negative as viewers or readers are less likely to view the reference but rather take everything that the news says completely at face value.
