1) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6274093/Turkish-officials-audio-recording-moment-missing-Saudi-journalist-murdered.html

The title of the news story is  "Turkish Officials 'have FOUND audio recording of the moment journalist was murdered by Saudi assassination squad recorded on his Apple watch"

2) Jamal Khashoggi was reportedly beaten and killed on October 2 at the Saudi Arabia embassy in Istanbul, Turkey

3) Turkish Officials found out that there was a audio recording on an Apple Watch belonging to a journalist that was murdered by a Saudi assassination squad. I would say that this is hard news as it is political. It would also be hard news because of the fact it talks about a journalist being murdered by Saudi assassins. Lately, Saudi Arabia has been the focus of many news stories with this being one of the many new ones.

4) The news story would appeal to an audience because it uses Negativity and Elite nations and people. Saudi Arabia is a controversial country and has many incidents happening around it and because of this many news stories report it. This would also be one of the many bad things Saudi Arabia is doing meaning its like a TV show with the audience filling in to see what new things has happened. Also, the news story might interest an audience as it is a negative audience, it focuses on things such as murder and assassination which have very negative connotations and if a news story has those words in it, it might cause an audience to be more interested in it.

5) I would consider this an example of journalism as it focuses on something that could be important and doesn't use things such as click-bait in order to simply get clicks. I would say this does reflect the values of the newspaper as it focuses on showing an audience a news story which would be the values of a news paper.

The title of the news story is "Labour MP calls for Mary Seacole to be the first black person to feature on the new £50 note"

2) Mary Seacole died in 1881 (Getty)

3)  The story talks about the fact that all the new designed notes feature a person that was important to British history and because of that a Labour MP calls for Mary Seacole to be featured on the new £50 note.I would say this is soft news as it doesn't talk about politics or issues that affect people in a regional or national scale.

4) The news story would appeal to an audience because it uses Elite nations and people and Familiarity. It would appeal to an audience as it involves the UK which is an elite nation and involves British history and Mary Seacole. Also, people who live in the UK would know about Mary Seacole meaning that they are more likely to click on a news story about Mary Seacole.

5) I would consider this journalism as the news story focuses on presenting a news story to an audience. Also, it talks about the reasons why Mary Seacole should be the next candidate to be on the new £50 pound note. The news story also shows the Labour MP that wants Mary Seacole to be the next candidate, showing that the news story doesn't use click-bait to get more people to click on the news story.
